How to Take Your Smile Photos

Before your consultation, we’ll need clear photos of your smile to assess your teeth and plan your treatment. Follow these simple steps to capture the best images:

📸 Step 1: Prepare

  • Wash your hands thoroughly.

  • Find two spoons to help gently move your cheeks out of the way.

  • You will need a friend to take the photos for you

📸 Step 2: Take Your Photos

Natural Smile: Take a photo of yourself smiling naturally in order for us to see how many teeth you show when you smile.

Centre View: Bite your back teeth together and take a front-facing photo of your smile.

Right Side: Place a spoon on the right side of your mouth, bite your back teeth together and take a photo with the camera close to the spoon.

Left Side: Move the spoon to the left side and repeat the process.

Upper Teeth: Tilt your chin up, open wide, and capture the biting surfaces of your upper teeth.
